Minus one disoriented dog, a fit-taking 4-year old and one verbal altercation between myself and the woman who gave birth to me, our family session was quite successful. As quick and painless as possible, we did what we needed to do, had our pictures taken and moved on with the rest of our day. It was a task that needed to be done – it had been two years – two years too long in my professional opinion – and it was due time for a new moment in history to be forever preserved in the form of digital imagery.
So there it was. Done. Finito. Then…onwards to barbecue.
First up…my handsome Irish Twin of a Brother, Jimmy, and his daughter. You may know her as Grace – I know her as the raddest chick on the planet.
Here they are…together…and crazy in love. She loves loves LOVES her Dadda.
My Stepfather James aka my personal GPS (he knows his way around Kansas City likes he owns it!) and my gooooorgeous Momma…though she’ll probably disagree with me but whatev!
Yours truly…and the man of my dreams and reality for 11+ years…you are the fulfillment I always longed for. Side Note: This may or may not have been the start of what could potentially be an awesome (and very lucrative) opportunity for jenifriend photography…who took my picture you ask? I’ll have you know it was…GASP…Jeff!![]()
Here we are…one big, happy, mildly dramatic but fully functioning and loving family. Oh yes and Fritz. This was his moment to shine, off-leash.
Gotta love us.
Have a happy Tuesday, all!
love (my family),
jenifriend
